The Ministry of Justice has announced that for the 1405 Solar Hijri year, any increase in rents for residential homes and apartment blocks countrywide is strictly prohibited.
The ministry noted that rents should stay at 1403 levels, with a maximum permitted increase of 10 percent. Any increase beyond this limit will be considered illegal.
The ministry further stated that in Kabul, the oversight committee will monitor property dealership offices and residential complexes, with violators being referred to the relevant authorities for legal proceedings.
