The Ministry of National Defense has reported that 202 military young officers from various corps and units have successfully completed specialized training at the Abdullah bin Masoud Joint Military Training Command. The four-month program included courses in D-30 howitzer maintenance, SPG-9, M24, M2 mortar, and border infantry operations. The graduation ceremony took place recently, recognizing the participants’ dedication and achievements.
During the ceremony, officials emphasized the critical role of artillery forces in military operations, stating that armies with well-trained and capable artillery units often have a decisive advantage on the battlefield. They encouraged the graduates to familiarize themselves with modern technologies and equipment to enhance their effectiveness in this essential military field.
The newly graduated personnel pledged to apply their acquired skills and strong sense of duty to defend the nation’s independence, territorial integrity, and Islamic values with courage and commitment.
