The Ministry of Water and Energy has announced plans to conduct surveys and design work for four major dams as part of its water management projects for the solar hijri year 1404. These include the Kuchake Dam in Takhar, the Kelagi Dam in Baghlan, the Zardalo Dam in Ghazni, and the Kadank Dam in Herat.

The ministry assured that once the survey and design work is completed, the construction of these dams will begin.

Economic analysts emphasize that implementing large-scale projects plays a vital role in economic stability and reducing unemployment.
