Mohammad Mohaqiq, leader of the Wahdat Party, called Pakistan Army Chief Asim Munir his dear brother and, after wishing him good health, congratulated Pakistan for its role in advancing the U.S-Iran ceasefire efforts.
Mohaqiq, who heads both the Wahdat Party and the political committee of the Resistance Council, praised the Pakistani leadership, calling the ceasefire initiative a historic step. He added that it not only enhances Pakistan’s prestige but also shields the region and the world from a potential major humanitarian crisis.
He also underscored that Pakistan has reaffirmed its commitment to promoting peace and stability across the region.
Mohaqiq referred to Asim Munir as his dear brother, even though not long ago, under Munir’s orders, a hospital for addicts in Kabul was attacked, martyring hundreds of people.
Following the atrocity, Mohammad Mohaqiq stayed silent, but now openly praised Asim Munir, the orchestrator of deadly attacks on Afghan civilians.
