Mohiuddin Mahdi, a former parliament member of the fallen republic, stated in a podcast that he does not consider himself Afghan and has never identified as a citizen of a country named Afghanistan.

Taking his rejection of Afghan identity further, Mahdi made openly prejudiced statements, claiming that, aside from the Pashtuns, other ethnic groups have no legitimate place in Afghanistan.

His remarks have drawn widespread condemnation, with many labeling him as biased and influenced by foreign agendas.

He is not alone in attempting to sow ethnic division among Afghans; many officials of the fallen republic have pursued similar efforts, often guided by foreign projects and directives.

It’s worth noting that Mahdi served in parliament under an extraordinary appointment during the fallen republic.
