    Moral Officers Prevent Forced Marriages of 34 Women in Kandahar in the Last Quarter of the Year

    The spokesperson for the Ministry of Promotion of Virtue, Prevention of Vice, and Complaints Hearing, Mawlawi Saif-ul-Islam Khyber, stated in an audio message that in the final three months of the current year 1403, ministry moral officers prevented the forced marriages of 34 women in Kandahar province.

    He added that during the same period, 43 women secured their inheritance rights, while 57 others were referred to relevant judicial and legal institutions for assistance in reclaiming their rights.
