The spokesman of the Afghan government, Mawlawi Zabihullah Mujahid, stated that the presence of Pakistani Taliban has no connection with the Afghan government and that it is Pakistan’s internal issue, which should be resolved domestically.

Mr. Mujahid added that certain military factions in Pakistan do not find Afghanistan’s central government, security, economy, development, or overall peace and stability favorable.

According to him, these factions have historically benefited from Afghanistan’s instability, foreign occupations, displacement, and hardships, and now seek to entangle themselves with Afghanistan under various pretexts.

He emphasized that we know that the people and religious scholars of Pakistan do not support the policies of this specific military group.
