    Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar Visits Samangan to Offer Condolences and Aid to Earthquake Victims

    Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar, the Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs, visited Samangan province to meet with earthquake victims and extend his condolences and support.

    The Deputy Prime Minister’s Office for Economic Affairs noted that Mr. Baradar offered prayers for those who lost their lives, conveyed condolences to their families, wished the injured a speedy recovery, and voiced solidarity with the victims.

    Baradar pledged that the Afghan government would use all available resources to support earthquake victims, promising shelter construction, home reconstruction, and assistance in other essential areas.

    He also brought cash assistance to Samangan, to be distributed transparently by provincial authorities among the affected families.
