Mullah Khairullah Khairkhwa, Acting Minister of Information and Culture of Afghanistan, expressed strong support for both state and private media during a meeting with spokespersons from ministries, independent directorates, and media representatives. He emphasized that the Islamic Emirate backs all media without any distinction.

In his remarks, Mr. Khairkhwa highlighted the crucial role of the media, stressing the importance of responsible conduct when engaging with the press.

He also noted that while many countries impose strict restrictions on media outlets, the Islamic Emirate continues to advocate for and defend the media across all sectors.
