    Nangarhar Deputy Governor Mawlawi Azizullah Mustafa, together with local officials, attended the funeral of the victims of the recent attack in Sultanpur, Surkh-Rood district.

    The Nangarhar provincial media office reported that during the ceremony, Mr. Mustafa assured the public that those responsible for the tragic attack would be promptly identified and held accountable under the law.

    The deputy governor also met with officials at Surkh-Rood district police command, urging security forces to accelerate their investigations and swiftly arrest those responsible.

    According to reports, unknown attackers brutally martyred a resident named Asfandyar’s wife, two sons, and two daughters in Sultanpur, Surkh-Rood district, on the previous night.
