The Ministry of Refugees and Repatriation has confirmed the release and repatriation of 96 Afghan citizens from Pakistani prisons.
According to the Border Directorate of Spin Boldak, the individuals had been detained in Pakistan for periods ranging from two to five days. Following their registration and receipt of humanitarian assistance, they were transported back to their respective home regions.
This comes as part of the ongoing efforts by the interim government, which has facilitated the release and repatriation of hundreds of Afghan citizens from various countries in recent months.
