The Ministry of Refugees and Repatriation announced that 397 Afghan citizens were released from Pakistani prisons and repatriated to Afghanistan on Monday, April 21.

The Ministry stated that these individuals had been detained in various parts of Pakistan and held in prisons for periods ranging from one to three days.

Following their release, the Ministry confirmed that the repatriated citizens were provided with humanitarian assistance before being sent to their home provinces.

It is worth noting that hundreds of Afghan citizens recently freed from Pakistani prisons have returned to Afghanistan.
