    New Appointments Announced by the Interim Government’s Leadership

    The spokesperson for the interim government, Mawlawi Zabihullah Mujahid, announced that several new appointments have been made by order of the government leadership.

    According to Mr. Mujahid, Mawlawi Rahimullah Mahmood, former district governor of Spin Boldak in Kandahar, has been appointed as deputy governor of Farah province. Haji Kaka Siyakha, former district governor of Qalat in Badghis province, has been appointed as deputy governor of Badghis province.

    Mr. Mujahid added that Mawlawi Abdul Karim Jahadyar, deputy governor of Farah province, has been appointed as district governor of Spin Boldak in Kandahar. Additionally, Mawlawi Abdul Rashid Muneeb, former head of intelligence in Kunduz province, has been appointed as head of the Agriculture Directorate in Kandahar province.
