In an analytical report, The New York Times examined President Donald Trump’s recent actions and their impact on the U.S. economy, both domestically and internationally. The report concludes that the U.S. economy has weakened, unemployment has increased, and Trump is facing intense internal pressure.
The paper added that Trump is trying to divert Americans’ attention from the country’s current situation, and the deployment of U.S. nuclear submarines toward Russia may be part of that distraction strategy.
The New York Times also noted Trump’s reaction to the July U.S. job market report, which showed a significant drop in new hires. Trump called the figures false and dismissed the head of the government agency responsible for the report.
Just two days before the release of the report, American automaker Ford announced that it had suffered millions of dollars in losses due to tariffs imposed by Trump, indicating serious business and economic damage.
