Spokesperson for the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, Enayatullah Alkozai, announced that the National Statistics and Information Authority (NSIA) has successfully reactivated the digital system for paper ID records, making it fully operational once again.

Alkozai noted that the system had remained inactive since 1400 solar hijri year, due to technical challenges but has now been fully restored and is ready for use under the oversight of the Ministry’s Directorate of Digital Governance.

He stressed that the system is a key national platform, launched to efficiently archive and digitalise paper ID records.

Alkozai added that the system integrates several key components to ensure that all critical data is accurately collected, systematically organized, and securely preserved as reliable information for future use.
