The Ministry of Refugees and Repatriation has reported that on Wednesday (June 25), 104 Afghan refugees were released from prisons in Pakistan and returned to Afghanistan.
According to the crossing point authorities in Spin Boldak, the released individuals had been detained in Pakistan for periods ranging from one to ten days. After registration and receiving humanitarian assistance, they were transported to their respective areas.
It is worth noting that, with the efforts of the caretaker government, hundreds of Afghans have previously been released from various countries and repatriated to the homeland.
