An American agency tracking gun violence has reported that, in the current year 2025, a total of 390 mass shootings have been recorded across the United States, resulting in 325 deaths and 1,750 injuries.
The report states that this trend accelerated with the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020 and has continued since then.
Last year, the U.S. recorded 504 gun shootings.
According to the agency’s data, incidents of gun violence are increasing daily in 44 states, including the capital, Washington, D.C.
