The Ministry of Justice announced that the Commission for the Prevention of Land Grabbing has confirmed and registered more than 27.5 million jeribs of pasturelands in Faryab, Badghis, and Badakhshan provinces.

The ministry stated that a dedicated commission team, tasked with preventing land grabbing and reclaiming usurped lands, carried out thorough surveys of these pastures. Following the commission’s rulings, the lands have been formally entered into the official land registry.

Of the total pastures, more than 9.321 million jeribs are in Faryab, over 4.167 million jeribs in Badghis, and nearly 14 million jeribs in Badakhshan.

The Ministry of Justice confirmed that the registered pastures span the provincial centers and all districts of Faryab, Badghis, and Badakhshan.
