Local sources from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa told Voice of Hindukush that Pakistani military militias conducted a drone strike today in the village of Tappi, located in the Miranshah region of North Waziristan, injuring five innocent civilians.
According to the sources, a drone dropped a bomb on the local market, spreading panic among residents. The wounded were taken to a nearby hospital, where several are reported to be in critical condition.
Residents have strongly condemned the strike and urged human rights organizations and relevant authorities to initiate an immediate investigation.
In recent weeks, following repeated setbacks on the battlefield, Pakistani militias have increasingly turned their focus toward civilians. Both aerial and ground assaults have reportedly resulted in dozens of civilian casualties.
