Lashkar-e-Islam has claimed responsibility for a sniper attack on Pakistani forces in the Tirah region of Khyber Agency. According to a statement issued by the group, its snipers targeted military personnel using precision rifles, killing one soldier and wounding another.
It is worth noting that Lashkar-e-Islam fighters had also carried out an attack on Pakistani forces in the same area the day before.
