The Pakistani Taliban reported in their daily statement that their fighters took control of a police outpost in Sada, Khurma district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa following a brief clash with local police.

The report stated that two police officers were injured in the clash, while the remaining personnel were captured and later released them under the guarantee of local community leaders.

The group reported that their forces recovered a substantial cache from the seized outpost, including 23 Kalashnikov rifles, 3 MG-1 machine guns, 1 DShK heavy machine gun, a rocket launcher with 12 rounds, 12 boxes of Kalashnikov ammunition, and 55 boxes of MG-1 ammunition.

The operation took place after the group concluded the ceasefire it had declared during Eid al-Fitr.
