The Pakistani Taliban, through its media wing Umar Media, has released a report detailing its operations in February, claiming responsibility for 147 attacks targeting various Pakistani government agencies. According to the report, these attacks resulted in 85 fatalities, 95 injuries, and the capture of six individuals.
The highest number of attacks reportedly took place in North Waziristan (34), followed by South Waziristan (27), Khyber (24), and Dera Ismail Khan (12).
The report details that their forces have employed laser-guided weapons, hand grenades, targeted assassinations, ambushes, and retaliatory strikes.
It also claims that it destroyed 14 military vehicles, 20 security cameras, and seized control of four security outposts before demolishing them. Additionally, the Pakistani Taliban states that their fighters captured four Kalashnikov rifles and one rocket launcher during these operations.
