On Sunday, the second day of the Al-Khandaq operations, the Pakistani Taliban carried out 33 attacks on security forces across Pakistan, targeting military, police, intelligence, and other security agency posts and vehicles. As a result, dozens of Pakistani soldiers and police officers were killed or wounded.

According to reports, the Pakistani Taliban launched these attacks in Bannu, Tank, Kurram, Khyber, North Waziristan, South Waziristan, Bajaur, Kooz Dir, Chitral, Mardan, Dera Ismail Khan, Quetta, Peshawar, and South Waziristan. The attacks included landmine explosions, ambushes, improvised explosive devices (IEDs), sniper fire, and counterattacks.

The most powerful attack on Sunday took place in the Tirah Adam Khel area of Bara district in Khyber province, where the Pakistani Taliban targeted a military post. The Pakistani Taliban fighters first killed three soldiers with laser rifles and then launched a heavy attack with light and heavy weapons. As a result, the post was destroyed, five soldiers were killed, and a total of eight soldiers lost their lives, with the post completely demolished.

Since the start of the Al-Khandaq operations, the Pakistani Taliban have been increasingly targeting Pakistani military personnel, inflicting significant casualties.
