Pakistani Taliban media sources reported that their forces carried out a bomb attack on a Pakistani police vehicle in Lakki Marwat district, as part of the ongoing Khyber operations.
Reports note that five police officers, including a senior officer, were injured in the attack, with one later dying in hospital from severe wounds.
Pakistani military authorities have also confirmed that five police officers were wounded in the attack.
