    Pakistani Taliban Inflicted Casualties on 415 personnel of Pakistan’s security Institutions in 360 Attacks Last Month

    According to a monthly report published by Umar Media, the media affiliated with the Pakistani Taliban Movement, the movement’s fighters carried out 360 attacks across various regions of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and other areas of Pakistan during July of the current Gregorian year. These attacks resulted in casualties among 415 personnel from different security agencies.

    The report states that among the affected, 139 were killed, 276 wounded, and 13 others captured alive. The casualties included army personnel, police, militias, and local militias.

    Sources further revealed that the highest number of attacks—89—occurred in South Waziristan, followed by 51 in Khyber, 49 in Chitral, 41 in North Waziristan, 36 in Bannu, and 24 in Bajaur, with dozens more spread across other provinces.

    The Pakistani Taliban Movement claimed the types of attacks included 139 sniper or laser attacks, 133 guerrilla operations, 32 ambushes, 15 targeted killings, 14 grenade attacks, 8 rocket strikes, 7 offensive assaults, and 19 retaliatory operations.

    The report also noted that during these operations, the Pakistani Taliban destroyed 51 security cameras, 24 military vehicles, 5 drone cameras, 10 military buildings, 1 tank, and solar and water infrastructure.

    Additionally, the movement claimed to have seized 7 Kalashnikovs, 1 PK machine gun, 2 LMGs, 1 rocket launcher with ammunition, 2 drones, 1 motorcycle, and various other munitions.
