The Pakistani Taliban movement has claimed responsibility for killing 38 Pakistani army personnel and injuring 19 others in nine separate attacks across various parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

According to reports, the attacks took place in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Orakzai, Chitral, Mohmand, and both South and North Waziristan.

In addition to the heavy loss of life, the Pakistani military reportedly sustained significant financial damage in the attacks.

It’s worth noting that the Pakistani Taliban has recently expanded its operations beyond Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and now maintain active forces in several major cities across the country.
