Local sources in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa told Voice of Hindukush that the Pakistani Taliban attacked a police patrol this morning in the Darmalk area of Lachi Tehsil, Kohat District, causing casualties.
The attack killed police officer Ashfaq, who also served as the tehsil head, and injured two other officers, Yasir and Shafqat.
According to reports, two police vehicles were destroyed in the attack, following the attack Pakistani Taliban withdrew from the area unharmed.
