Sources told Voice of Hindukush that the Pakistani Taliban, acting on intelligence from their internal unit known as the TIA, carried out a targeted operation in Quetta’s Burnai area, killing an intelligence operative of Pakistan’s military regime identified as Saddam.

According to the source, the operative was implicated in the killings of several Pakistani Taliban members and had been under surveillance for an extended period.

The source noted that the operative had been linked to the killings of several Pakistani Taliban members and had long remained under surveillance.

The source added that following the attack, the Pakistani Taliban seized a pistol, a motorcycle, and a sum of cash from the operative.

No official comment has so far been issued by Pakistan’s military regime regarding the incident.

The Pakistani Taliban also claimed responsibility for an attack earlier that morning in Dera Ismail Khan district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, reporting that 15 soldiers of the military regime were killed and injured.
