    Pakistani Taliban Movement: 1,474 Pakistani Security Forces Killed and Injured in 556 Attacks Last Month

    Pakistani Taliban Movement, through its media outlet “Umar Media,” released a detailed report on its operations during August of this year. According to the report, Pakistani Taliban forces carried out 556 attacks in which they killed 544 personnel from various Pakistani government institutions, wounded 930 others, and captured 12 alive.

    The report states that the highest number of attacks last month occurred in South Waziristan (141), followed by North Waziristan (71), Khyber (63), and Bajaur (57).

    The Movement added that these attacks included the use of laser weapons, hand grenades, targeted killings, offensive and retaliatory operations.

    According to the information, during these attacks, the Pakistani Taliban destroyed 55 military and police vehicles, damaged 78 security cameras, and demolished numerous facilities.
