The Pakistani Taliban has stated that their forces arrested a man named Nazar Ali on charges of spying in the Karak district of Kohat province. He was later released on the condition that he would not engage in spying ever again, guaranteed by local tribal elders.
According to reports, the individual, known locally as Khattak, is a resident of Karak district.
