The Kremlin has announced that during a nearly 90-minute phone conversation with Donald Trump, Russian President Vladimir Putin agreed to the U.S. president’s proposal for a 30-day mutual suspension of attacks on Russian and Ukrainian energy facilities. Following the discussion, Putin ordered the Russian military to implement the measure.

The Kremlin emphasized that as part of the ceasefire initiative, Putin called for an end to weapons transfers to Ukraine and stressed that the complete end to foreign military and intelligence assistance was a key condition for reaching an agreement.

During the conversation, Putin also announced the exchange of 175 Ukrainian prisoners for 175 Russian prisoners.

According to the source, Putin and Trump further discussed economic cooperation, arms control, and global security.
