Qatar’s Emir, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, has traveled to Iran leading a high-level delegation, where he met with the country’s Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.

According to sources, Khamenei highlighted the importance of agreements between Iran and Qatar, emphasizing that the understandings reached in Tehran should serve the interests of both nations. He also stressed that both countries must strengthen their ability to fulfill their regional responsibilities more effectively.

In an official statement, the Qatari Amiri Diwan confirmed that the Emir and Khamenei discussed bilateral relations, as well as regional and international developments.
