Recent Cooperation between Pakistan and Proxy Groups Against the Afghan Government

While the security situation in the region is passing thru a sensitive and delicate phase, the recent activities of Pakistan’s intelligence and political apparatus indicate that the country is once again resorting to its old tactics against Afghanistan’s stability. This time, Islamabad has joined with those so-called resistance groups and other political opponents who only dream of overthrowing and destabilizing the Afghan government. These are not ordinary political meetings, but rather the beginning of an intelligence coordination and collaboration for the violation of Afghanistan’s sovereignty and attacks on Afghanistan’s military institutions.

Clear and documented intelligence information reveals that behind the recent airstrikes on some strategic and military centers in Kabul are the dirty hands of those who claim to be members of the “Resistance Front.” These individuals, for their personal gains and lust for power, directly hand over the precise coordinates of the country’s important military bases to the Pakistani army and intelligence, which constitutes direct collaboration with foreign mercenary groups in the violation of Afghanistan’s national sovereignty and will be recorded in the dark pages of history as national treason.

Contrary to diplomatic norms, this deal has now moved beyond secret meetings and is being conducted openly. Reliable sources confirm that officials from Pakistan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and intelligence agencies regularly hold weekly group online meetings with the media team of the Resistance’s proxy front. In these meetings, not only are they given propaganda instructions, but they are also shown specific intelligence strategies regarding current events, so they can organize their toxic propaganda war against the current Afghan government and pave the way for foreign agendas.

Members of the Resistance and other opposing groups have simultaneously demonstrated their loyalty to Pakistan during the Pakistan-Afghanistan clashes, a loyalty that is proven thru propaganda activities and stances against Afghanistan, aimed at maintaining continuous connections with Pakistan’s intelligence agencies. The pro-Pakistani military addresses and intelligence pages, which are largely involved in the media and psychological warfare against Afghanistan, campaign for the so-called Resistance Front based on agreements and close coordination, aiming to show that there is instability in Afghanistan and that the security situation is not good.

Pakistan, on the one hand, plays the victim of terrorism(!) to the world. Pretending to be a victim, but on the other hand, playing the role of an oppressor and invader over Afghanistan’s airspace. The reason Pakistan conducts selective attacks freely is the precise intelligence support it receives from the proxy group known as the Resistance, both covertly and overtly. Islamabad is trying to use this illegitimate tool of pressure to force Afghanistan into submission, but in reality, it is not Afghanistan that is at the stage of submission now, but Pakistan.

Targeting the current stability of Afghanistan and the opponents settled in the embrace of the country’s historical enemies, especially the Resistance Front, has reached the final limit of political and moral decline. This group has now completely transformed from a political front into a media and operational branch of Pakistani intelligence. Pakistan must understand that reusing defeated pawns and nurturing the enemies of the Afghan government will not bring them any strategic advantage; rather, the blame for a new catastrophe in the region will solely rest on their shoulders.
