Maulana Muhammad Khan Sherani, a leading religious figure from Balochistan, has criticized Pakistan’s military regime, stating that it primarily serves to protect Western powers’ interests in the region.
Maulana Sherani stated that Pakistan’s military aggressions on civilians in Afghanistan clearly show the regime’s role in defending Western interests.
He further stated that the leadership in many Muslim countries continues to operate under the direct influence of colonial powers and their Western successors.
Sherani added that hoping anything good from such rulers is futile, noting that the very rulers beg the United States to maintain the survival of their government.
