Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said that Russia welcomes talks with the United States on efforts to resolve the conflict in Ukraine, adding that Moscow remains ready to continue such engagement.
Speaking to journalists after his official visit to China, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said that Russia has accepted U.S. proposals concerning the recognition of territorial realities of the war in Ukraine.
According to reports, the United States had previously urged Ukraine to consider giving up areas currently under Russian control as part of a proposed framework to end the conflict.
Lavrov also criticized European leaders, accusing Brussels, Paris, Berlin, and London of obstructing progress in negotiations between Russia and Ukraine.
