    Security Forces Seize Dozens of Light and Heavy Ammunition Rounds in Kunduz

    The Kunduz Police Command’s Press Office announced in a statement that counterterrorism units have seized dozens of rounds of ammunition for various types of weapons in the province.

    According to the statement, the ammunition was recovered in the Asqalan area of Kunduz, following an intelligence report.

    No arrests have been made in connection with the seizure. However, in previous operations, large caches of weapons and ammunition have been discovered in houses formerly used by remnants of the collapsed republic.
