Afghanistan’s Foreign Minister Mawlawi Amir Khan Muttaqi, met with the Kazakh President’s Special Envoy, Berik Tokayev.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the two sides discussed strengthening political and economic cooperation between both countries, as well as recent developments in the region.
Muttaqi stated that the Islamic Emirate seeks positive relations with neighboring and regional countries based on diplomacy, understanding, and mutual respect, and that significant progress has been made in political and economic ties with Kazakhstan.
On the other hand, the Kazakh envoy praised Afghanistan’s constructive position and assured that Kazakhstan would continue its cooperation with Afghanistan in various areas.
He emphasized that regional stability is a shared responsibility that can be achieved through trust, security, and economic cooperation.
