According to local sources, seven Pakistani soldiers were killed and several others injured during clashes between Pakistani Taliban and the army in Bajaur, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

The sources report that the ongoing military operation named “Sar Bakaf” by the Pakistani army is facing fierce resistance from the Pakistani Taliban, and heavy fighting is continuing in the area.

The Pakistani military has declared a temporary curfew in the region, while the Pakistani Taliban, in response, have urged residents not to allow soldiers into their homes during the operations to avoid casualties.
