    Snowbound Citizens Rescued in Faryab’s Lulash District

    The Ministry of National Defense reported that forces from the 209 Al-Fath Corps, using helicopters, evacuated citizens stranded by heavy snowfall in Lulash district of Faryab province to safe locations.

    According to the ministry, one person lost his life in the incident, while another, who was ill, was transferred to the provincial capital, Maimana, for urgent medical treatment.

    The defense forces reopened roads in the province that had been blocked by heavy snowfall, allowing residents to safely resume travel.
