While addressing Israel’s position on the recognition of Somaliland separatists,
Somalia’s President, Hassan Sheikh Mahamood, firmly stated that there are no Israeli forces in Somalia at present and that he sees no possibility of such a presence in the foreseeable future,
He warned that if Israeli forces were to enter Somalia, the country would respond with its full might to defend its sovereignty.
The president underscored that Somalia firmly opposes any presence of Israeli forces on its soil and will never allow such an intrusion under any circumstances.
