    Storms in the U.S. Delay Over 22,000 Flights

    Reuters has reported that due to severe storms in the United States, more than a thousand flights were canceled and many others delayed.

    According to FlightAware, by Friday afternoon, 1,801 flights had been canceled and over 22,000 were delayed.

    The U.S. National Weather Service issued warnings of hazardous travel conditions, and major airports in New York also announced delays and cancellations.

    Additionally, around 70 million people in the southern parts of the country were warned of severe flooding.
