    According to reports, Sudanese government forces have recaptured Wad Medani, the capital of Al-Jazeerah state, from the Rapid Support Forces (RSF).

    Information suggests that the RSF operates under the leadership of Hamediti and receives financial and military support from the United Arab Emirates.
