    Suhail Shaheen Meets French Chargé d’Affaires; Discusses Bilateral Relations

    Mohammad Suhail Shaheen, the Acting Ambassador of Afghanistan in Doha, met with Jean-Marin Schuh, France’s Chargé d’Affaires for Afghanistan.

    According to a statement issued by the Afghan Embassy in Doha, the meeting covered the current political situation, bilateral relations between Afghanistan and France, humanitarian assistance, and other relevant matters.

    The statement further noted that discussions also took place regarding the continuation and expansion of France’s support in the field of Afghanistan’s ancient artifacts.

    At the end of the meeting, Mr. Shaheen called on the French representative to resume France’s political mission in Kabul.

    It is worth mentioning that the interim government currently oversees more than 40 diplomatic missions abroad and continues efforts to further expand in this area.
