The Syrian army launched operations in Aleppo’s Deir-Hafir district targeting the PKK and remnants of the former regime allied with QSD militias.

According to the Syrian state news agency, these areas serve as military bases for QSD and their allies.

The report adds that Iranian-made suicide drones have previously been launched from this location toward Aleppo city.

These bases have facilitated the bombardment of eastern Aleppo and have prevented local residents from leaving the area.

It is worth noting that the Syrian army had previously carried out similar operations against these militias in the Sheikh Maqsoud and Ashrafieh areas of Aleppo.
