Iranian media have reported that Syria’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs has announced that Ahmad al-Sharaa, the country’s interim president, will make his first official visit to the United Arab Emirates. He is also scheduled to travel to Turkey following this visit.

Al-Sharaa’s first international trip of the year took place in February, when he visited Saudi Arabia. He later traveled to Turkey as well.
