Taiwan has signed an arms purchase agreement with the United States, valued between $7 billion and $10 billion, according to international media reports. The agreement also includes the acquisition of cruise missiles and defensive weapons.

It’s worth noting that, China views Taiwan as an integral part of its territory and has consistently criticized the United States for supplying and selling weapons to Taiwan.
