    The United Arab Emirates Seeks to Expand Trade Relations with Afghanistan

    The United Arab Emirates’ Special Representative for Afghanistan, Saif Mohammed Khalfan, has stated that his country seeks to strengthen and expand trade relations with Afghanistan.

    In a meeting with the Interim Government’s Administrative Deputy, Mawlawi Abdul Salam Hanafi, he also announced increased cooperation in supporting Afghan refugees returning from neighboring countries.

    According to a statement from Arg (Emirati Palace), Mawlawi Hanafi noted that the United Arab Emirates has maintained strong trade, economic, and political relations with Afghanistan for many years and expressed hope that these relations will continue to grow and strengthen.
