Recently, a new chapter in diplomatic relations between Afghanistan and the West has opened, and these relations are continuing to improve and expand. Although the caretaker government has not been officially recognized by Western countries so far, despite this, a number of countries still have close interactions with the caretaker government, which means that there has been a change and softening in the West’s former policies and strategies towards Afghanistan, and they have understood the realities regarding Afghanistan.
A change in Western policies not only plays a constructive role in normalizing interactions and relations, but it is also considered a kind of recognition that the previous policies of force, coercion, and pressure have failed. There are always changes in international politics. These changes always have a profound impact, and Afghanistan is no exception to this rule.
These changes are of greater concern to those figures who remained under the shadow of the West in previous years and worked for them, people who were constantly engaged in opposition from Western fronts against the caretaker government and the Afghan people. They will no longer have a place in the West, nor are they of any interest anymore. The possibilities for their foreign activities are becoming increasingly limited day by day, and a time will come when they will no longer have an environment for political activity.
The political opponents of the caretaker government have always relied on foreign funding for their survival, but these resources are drying up. Western countries no longer provide them with space for political activities, their grounds and excuses for seeking asylum and residence have also been limited, their media influence has decreased, their political activities have been questioned, and most countries no longer listen to their statements.
The current situation is the beginning of the downfall of anti-national corrupt circles. This is why the political opponents of the caretaker government are certain of their demise. First, they played with the sentiments of the Afghan people during their time in power, and then, after the transformation, they did not give up on intellectual, propaganda, and political opposition against the Afghan people. They negatively defined Afghanistan’s progress in every aspect. Their betrayal and treachery against the country and the nation will never be erased from the pages of history and will always be preserved.
