A clash broke out last night at the Torkham border following an unprovoked attack by Pakistani militias, and the fighting remains ongoing. According to Voice of Hindukush sources, the clash began at approximately 12:30 AM. Initial reports confirm that Pakistani militias have suffered casualties, though the exact number is yet to be determined.

Eyewitnesses report that Afghan forces responded immediately, mounting a strong defense and countering the movements of Pakistani militias with decisive retaliatory strikes.

This is not the first instance of Pakistani militias violating border protocols through violent actions. However, Afghan forces remain prepared to defend the country’s territory and sovereignty.

The battle continues, further details will be shared as they become available.
