According to The New York Times, U.S. President Donald Trump has recently stated that the United States should once again send weapons to Ukraine to enable it to defend itself.
These remarks came shortly after the U.S. Department of Defense announced that some weapons could not be sent directly to Ukraine due to stockpile shortages.
However, Trump has decided to resume the provision of defensive military aid, which includes Patriot air defense missile systems.
Meanwhile, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has warned of Russia’s growing advances and urged the U.S. and its allies not to withdraw their support.
